China Environmental United Certification Center Co., Ltd (Hereinafter referred as CEC) is approved by Certification and Accreditation Administration of China as the professional certification body with possessing a team consisted of ISO 14001 and other Management System auditors with excellent qualification and fruitful experiences, among whom many of them have excellent specialty background and senior professional titles. There are more than hundreds of firms of ISO 14001 Environmental Management System certificated by CEC; it’s the best certification organization with the most comprehensive certification scope and strongest environmental capability in China.
CDM Department of CEC was established in June 2005 as a specialized operating unit in the organization of CEC to undertake Validation, Verification and Certification of CDM project activities.
CEC, as an applicant operational entity (AE) is the professional certification body, organizes the assessment group for Validation, Verification and Certification with the specialists and auditors in CEC and other professional organizations who have abundant CDM and/or audit background knowledge and long year experiences.
CEC CDM Department intends to make continuous efforts to contribute to the preservation of the global environment and the acceleration of sustainable development through promoting the development of CDM project activities.

Self-Assurance Statement:
The CEC CDM Department shall ensure the credibility, independence, non-discrimination, transparency and impartiality in undertaking the business required of CEC after becoming a DOE under the Kyoto Protocol and shall further ensure that all organizations shall be able to receive the services from this department. CEC CDM Department shall also ensure that the procedures for undertaking business shall be non-discriminatory. Contribution to the preservation of the earth's environment and sustainable development shall be targeted through impartiality in CDM projects and appropriate validation, verification and certification.
In undertaking the business of a DOE under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, CEC CDM Department shall not be subject to commercial or financial pressure nor any restraint from any international body, government or governmental body, municipal body, private organizations, nor individuals other than those that comprise the CEC CDM Department that influence the appropriate content of validation, verification and certification, the process of such work or decisions taken.
The CEC CDM Department shall establish a whole quality system in order to ensure quality and the appropriate implementation of the validation, verification and certification. At the same time, executives and staffs of the CEC CDM Department shall achieve improvements in their individual knowledge and work in order to improve in quality.
