CDM Additionality

Additionality is another important aspect of the CDM. Additionality is the justification of the roposed CDM project activity not being the baseline scenario. The CDM Executive Board ntroduced the additionality tools (figure 3.7) at its 16th meeting (UNFCCC 2004b). It is not andatory to use the additionality tools, but it is highly recommended.
